Responsible gambling
Gambling is entertainment that costs money. Over time, the house edge means players as a group lose. If it stops being fun, stop - and it is fine to ask for help.
18+ only. Do not gamble if you are under 18 or under the legal age where you live, or where online gambling is not legal.
Warning signs
- Spending more money or time than you planned, or chasing losses to "win it back".
- Borrowing, selling things or using money meant for bills to gamble.
- Hiding gambling from people close to you, or feeling anxious or irritable when you are not gambling.
- Gambling to escape problems or low mood.
Practical limits
- Decide a loss limit before you start and treat it as the price of the entertainment.
- Use deposit limits, session reminders, cool-off periods and self-exclusion in your casino account.
- Crypto transfers bypass bank gambling blocks - consider limits on your exchange account, or not keeping funds there.
- Install blocking software on your devices if you want a hard stop.
Our bankroll simulator shows how quickly losses add up, and the self-exclusion guide covers each tool in detail.
